The hotel Mountain Inn was built in the summer 2002. It has 18 rooms (single rooms, double rooms, three-bed rooms and apartments) with approx. 50 beds. In sunny situation you can enjoy a direct view of the Walliser mountain world and the glaciers from all rooms. The Carl Zuckmayer way (topic way to honours of the writer) starts directly behind the hotel for cosy walks. Here also numerous walking ways begin into the closer environment as well as a trim you path and the Nordic Skiing run. Our hotel has a friendly reception with couch corner and detailed information board, an elevator, a cosy restaurant, a nice bar with favourable prices as well as in the winter a singular illuminated Après Ski Snowbar. In the summer we have a beautiful terrace to the south side with beach chairs. For the sport devices a ski stand is available and a lockable ski cellar, which in the summer for bicycles and other implements can be used. For longer stays our washing machines can be used. The hotel is also for handicapped persons and can be committed completely without stairs. There is also one room for handicapped. We organize regularly different events for our guests such as cocktail evening, barbecue evening, village round course, torch/flare migration or hut evening.

| The hotel is situated in the calm local part Wildi, approx. 8 min by feet to the mountain railways and in the local centre, bars, restaurants, baker´s shop and supermarket in direct environment. A ski bus stop is directly before the door. Due to the sunny & impressive situation in the midst of 13 fourthausand peaks and the impressive Feeglacier, which enclose the place, Saas Fee is called shell of the alps. The car-free roads with their traditional timber facades load to one stroll by the urigen local centre in. Saas Fee in addition, a top modern place is contemporaneous, in which an international, public enthusiastic about sport does not only meet on the runway. This particularly shows up with the pulsating Après ski offer, which can keep up with Austrian ski centers. Likewise the lively night life: Here you can live it up into the early morning hours in trendy discos, cosy bars and nice Pubs. The indoor tennis court and the swimming center, with its 25 meters pool, Sauna, dampfbad and Whirlpool, always offer the sayful view into the deeply snow-covered mountain world. Unforgettable experiences prepare a round on ice skates, the ice stick shooting or a Curlingspiel on the ice bearing surface of the place. The phantastic glacier world of Saas Fee offers one of the best and sun-richest skiing areas of the alps. The dream runways of the glacier and at the Felskinn as well as the ski variants at the Laengfluh and Plattjen, fulfill also most elevated requirements. By the highest point, the Mittelallalin in nearly 3600 m height, you can ride in a wonderful 14 km panorama departure into the place on 1800 m down. And all that absolutely snow safe because of the altitude and the numerous snow cannons on the valley departures, which guarantee for permanently perfect snow conditions. For good riders there is likewise a multiplicity of excellent hump runways and Boarder Fun parks, as well as top prepared runway boulevards for relaxed carving. Queues at the cable cars is in Saas Fee a foreign word: Within a short time the modern alpine express and in the connection the highest metro of the world brings you directly up to the summit in 3500 m!

Info:
Visitors travelling by train travel to Brig or Visp and change to the post bus with the direct destination Saas-Fee. There are hourly connections until 8.05 in the evening from Brig and 8.25 from Visp. Check your luggage in at your local station and collect it at the bus station at the Saas Valley post offices.

Swiss has flights from the following cities to Sion (via Zurich): Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Hannover, München, Nürnberg and Stuttgart. Time: every Saturday during the time of the 20th December - 27th March. A direct flight exists from London to Sion. Shuttle buses bring you from Sion to Saas-Fee.
Visitors travelling by car from the north travel via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel (car-train), from the east via the Furka pass (or car-train) and from the south via the Simplon pass. You reach the Saas Valley from the west of Switzerland via Lausanne and through the Rhone valley to Visp.
Saas-Fee is car-free! You can leave your car in the covered car-park or at the outdoor car-park at the entrance to the village. You can take your luggage to your holiday apartment or hotel in an electrically-powered taxi or with a handcart, and then you can start to enjoy your holiday without your car!
You will be given the Saas-Fee visitor´s card, which entitles you to a reduction on parking fees from the 2nd day, by the owner of your apartment or hotel. Before you drive out of the car-park, bring your visitors´ card and car-park ticket to the tourist office to encode the reduction on your car-park ticket. Ask for this when you arrive, and you will be offered various discounts in the village. See the information in the local magazine, the Gletscher-Post.
